Stevie Hazmat was born in an underground bomb shelter where he survived for decades eating expired food tins while binge-watching genre cinema on VHS.
Until his accidental discovery by a chemical manufacturer searching for a secluded area to dump toxic waste, Stevie had believed that he was the sole person alive on Earth.
Stevie was shocked to learn that the mysterious above-ground world, which he had grown to fear over his many years in isolation, was not destroyed by atomic fire as he was taught by the long-dead caretakers of his youth.
Forced out of seclusion and terrified of the strange new above-ground world, Stevie now wanders the countryside clad in a hazmat suit and gas mask, desperately searching for a new bomb shelter to call home.
To pass his time, Stevie scribbles word puzzles about the movies that were his sole companions down in the dark bunker.
